Getting into Grad School 101

Are you contemplating going to grad school or currently in the process of applying?  If your answer is yes, please join representatives from Career Services and The Writing Center as we address grad school exploration and the application process.  Bring any questions you may have to the session.
Seating is limited, so come early!

Have you thought about doing an internship in China and gaining professional, international experience?

Please join us on Tuesday, March 4th at 5:30pm (LBJ Student Center 3-12.1) as CRCC Asia visits Texas State to give a presentation about their opportunities in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Sanya!

CRCC Asia’s Award Winning China Internship Program provides one, two, or three month internships in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Sanya. Fluent English is the only language requirement and there is a program start date each month of the year.

We work with over 400 companies in China, offering a wide range of placements across various industries including Finance, Law, Marketing/PR, Engineering, Green Tech, International Business, Pharmaceuticals, NGOs and many more.

Getting the Job: How to Create Resumes and Cover Letters

Log into Jobs4Cats via the Career Services website to see a list of graduate programs available at Texas State. The fair will run online from March 17 - March 21.

 GRE Strategy Session

Texas State Career Services, in collaboration with The Princeton Review, will provide a FREE GRE Strategy Session to help expose students to material topics they will see on the GRE test. Students will gain valuable insights and tips on how to properly prepare for an upcoming GRE test and ways to receive additional assistance. This event is open to all majors.
  
Law School Admissions: Information & Campus Resources
Mar 20, 5:30PM - 7:00PM
Join Career Services, Student Learning Assistance Center (SLAC), Writing Center, Phi Alpha Delta (prelaw organization), and Princeton Review as we explore law school admissions resources.  The format will be brief presentations from all offices and organizations present regarding resources on how they can assist with the law school admissions process.  Following the short presentations will be a Q & A panel lasting around 30 - 35 minutes and then a browse section for students to ask questions and get to know the services provided by each office and organization.
  
Hispanic Alumni Panel

The Texas State Alumni Association's Hispanic Chapter and Career Services invite you the Hispanic Alumni Panel. This event will allow current students to network with Texas State alumni and hear about their journeys post-graduation.

Practice Makes Perfect: How to Rehearse for Your Next Job Interview

It’s like expecting a toddler to walk well the first time – it’s just not going to happen.  Come learn things you need to do and continue doing now and throughout your job search to be at the top of your game.
