Outside of the pay listed below we also offer Paid Time Off/Vac, College Reimbursement, Paid Mileage and much more!

After School Specialists (Part-Time Positions; $7.50/hr) – Several Openings

• MUST have reliable transportation to get to designated work site every day
• MUST be flexible with site assignments (will vary depending on job openings; 18 after school locations in SA (14 Elementary Schools in NISD; 2 Elementary Schools in SWISD, 2 private locations)
• MUST be able to work Mon through Fri from 2pm to 6:30pm
• Exp and/or the ability to work w/ large groups of 20+ of school aged children

Boerne After School Specialist  (Part-Time Position; $8.50/hr) – One Opening

• MUST have reliable transportation to get to work every day
• MUST be able to work in Boerne, Texas (Curington Elementary: 601 Adler Road, Boerne, Texas 78006)
• MUST be able to work Mon through Fri from 2pm to 6:30pm
• Exp and/or the ability to work w/ large groups of 20+ of school aged children

After School Substitutes (Part-Time Positions; $8.00/hr) – Several Openings

• MUST have own vehicle due to the nature of the job
• MUST be able and willing to travel to assigned locations throughout San Antonio and one school in Boerne
• MUST be able to work Mon through Fri from 2pm to 6:30pm
• Exp and/or the ability to work w/ large groups of 20+ of school aged children

Learning Center Specialist: Infant II Room (Part-Time Position; $7.50/hr) – One Opening

• MUST have reliable transportation to get to work every day
• MUST be able to work around the Hwy 90 and 410 area
• MUST be able to work Mon through Fri from 12pm to 5pm
• MUST have experience working with infants

Learning Center Specialist: Infant I Room (Part-Time Position; $7.50/hr) – One Opening

• MUST have reliable transportation to get to work every day
• MUST be able to work around the Hwy 90 and 410 area
• MUST be able to work Mon through Fri from 12pm to 5:45pm
• MUST have experience working with infants

All child care staff must establish & maintain positive relationships w/ all children, parents, staff, licensing rep etc… Ensure the safety & well being of each child through quality direct childcare & supervision. As well as ensure children’s experience a variety of fun, safe & enrichment activities according to curriculum, lesson plans & Texas Department of Family Protective Services (TDFPS). All child care staff will also assist in site set up & daily activities prepared prior to children’s arrival.

Requirements for All positions:

• 6mos to 1yr exp working with infants through school aged children is preferred (exp can be in a licensed childcare facility/program, volunteer program and even babysitting) *exp w/ infants, toddlers is not required for After School position.
• Exp and/or the ability to work w/ large groups of 20+ of school aged children (child/staff ratios are based on ages in accordance w/ TDFPS)
• MUST have HS Diploma/GED at minimum & be 18yrs+ to meet TDFPS licensing req
• MUST PASS Full Criminal Background Check
• MUST get Fingerprinted and pay fee on own; reimbursed only after successfully completing 90day intro period.
• MUST maintain acceptable attendance; includes reporting to center on time (NO Fault Attendance Policy)
• Ability to be flexible, patient & tolerant
• Ability to work well in a team environment; communicate clearly & effectively via oral & written means
• Ability to present a friendly & positive demeanor to children, parents, co workers, etc.
• Ability to exhibit confidentiality, discretion & high maturity levels at all times
